Yacht cruising calmly under bright sun, stabilized by a ZGYRO unit
Service line 02 · Gyro stabilizers

Up to 95% less roll. A horizon that finally stays put.

Sealion delivers full-scope ZGYRO® stabilizer projects — sizing, supply, installation, commissioning, sea trial and after-sales support. Our sweet spot is the Z05–Z20 range for vessels up to ~23 m, and we handle bigger units (Z26 → Z200) for ships above 50 m on request.

Mechatronic, not hydraulic.

ZGYRO is the world's first gyro stabilizer series using a servo motor and gearbox for active precession control — replacing the hydraulic systems that leak, lag and need specialist service.

Inside the unit

Five integrated systems. One smooth ride.

Gyro System
Vertical-axis flywheel in a sealed vacuum casing generates anti-roll torque during precession.
Drive System
Frameless servo motor drives the flywheel shaft directly — compact and efficient.
Torque Control
Patented mechatronic torque device with triple buffering. Up to 6,000 h maintenance-free.
Cooling System
Heat exchanger trades heat with seawater to cool bearings, motors and electronics.
Auto-Adaptive Control
Reads hull posture, adjusts damping in real time, alarms and shuts down on fault.
ZTAB Interceptors
Optional pitch-reduction interceptors complete a full active stabilization solution.
The vacuum-chamber lineup

From the Z05 tender unit to the Z20.

Our focus is the small- and mid-range ZGYRO units — the sizes that fit on the boats most owners actually run in this region. Everything from a 6 m RIB up to a 23 m sport-yacht is covered out of the box.

ZGYRO's non-vacuum range scales well beyond our standard catalogue — Z26, Z35, Z50, Z80, Z110, Z150, Z200, all the way up to the Z1000. We can size, supply and install for commercial ships, work boats and superyachts over 50 m. Send us the hull dimensions and we will quote.
